September 29 & 30- I got my shots and my daddy stayed home!

Today was the day mommy and daddy have been dreading. They told me that I have to get something in my body that will make me stay healthy. I really don’t know what that means, but I think it is supposed to keep me from getting sick. I went to go see Dr. Church, Nurse Katie, and Nurse Amy again. They are really getting used to seeing me. This time I made sure to not go potty on mommy. Daddy told me to be brave and he held onto me really tight. Mommy was in the corner with her hands over her ears. What in the world was going to happen..OUCH, that is what was going to happen. Nurse Amy and Nurse Katie put needles in my leg. OUCH OUCH, I cried so hard. But mommy said I was so brave. She told me when she was a kid they had to tie her up to give her shots. I just needed my daddy to hold me. I did get 3 groovy looking bandaids. And even better, I get to eat this cherry stuff for 24 hours. Mommy called it Tylenol, I call it yummy.

Perfect day perfect day, my daddy took off work to spend time with me. It was a wonderful day, we slept in and snuggled. Then mommy and daddy went to another consignment sale. I got more sweet looking clothes. This time they were looking for night gowns with zippers, they are so comfy. It is starting to get cold out and I guess that means that I may not get to sleep in my diaper and swaddle blanket anymore. I will have to have more clothes on. After the sale, we went to Sam’s, oh my goodness, that place has so much stuff. Mommy and daddy bought this really cool water machine. I cannot wait to play with it when I grow up. They said they are going to start drinking hot tea together at night after I fall asleep.
